Show Notes

A filmmaker survey from June 2025 found that almost 3/4 of respondents plan to use artificial intelligence in their films.

But another survey found that "52% of U.S. consumers over the age of 16 would rather watch a 7/10 rated movie created by humans than a 9/10 rated movie created entirely by AI."

Rudy Ruiz, an indie filmmaker in the Los Angeles area, joins Steve Ispas and David Lam on Silicon Valley Front Row to share his critical thoughts on AI in the filmmaking industry.
